Time is similar to air, both are non tangible particles that you cannot see but can be compressed by gravity. Vacuum tubes were the way of science back in the 50s - 00s. Older TVs used a CRT " Cathode Ray Tube" and placed a Electron Gun inside of it. 

I will tell you the significance of this here shortly just try to follow. Just one thing that you should take away from this is that there's more technology inside of the old CRT TVs than the TVs today and heres why.

The CRT is pumped filled with Phosphor any substance that emmits visible light, the electron gun is placed inside of it that consist of negatively charged particles to be heated by a Steering Coil that generates a beam of electrons that creates a Magnetic Field, the electrons collide with Phosphor which gets excited causing them to gain energy, when the Phosphor atoms lose the energy they gained during the collisions they emit photons creating visible light. All this is done inside of Vaccum Tube.

The significance of this is that our universe is very similar to this process. The vacuum of space, stars or sun's are similar to the Electron Gun and Phosphor is surrounding everything in the universe. 

I can build an entire universe or micro dimension, how? Make a large hadron collider. CERN collides particles that recreates the big bang an a entire micro dimension has spawned into existence. Even though it lasted for a millionth of a second time is like elastic and compresses an a entire universe lived out it's life for billions of years in a micro dimension similar to our very own during the collisions.

CERN is looking for time particles and recreating existence to better understand our own.

So if time is energy and a particle has CERN found time particles. The answer to that is yes. Time is the glue holding the universe together, via God Particle.
